Longtime Cutthroat Boyz member A$ton Matthews has been working on his new project Chapovelli for quite some time, releasing the singles “Night To Remember” and “Ever Since” in support of it.
He has now released the latest teaser from it, “Phantom Of The Opera,” featuring and produced by Velous. This marks A$ton’s first time working with Velous, who recently linked with Fabolous and Chris Brown on the remix to “Flipmode.”
“He cut the sample on in the studio and we both know it was a stanger off the rip,” A$ton says on the song. “Working on Chapovelli there has been many moments of desperation that led [me] to the feeling of having a point to prove each verse. And this record was the first of many of those moments.”
