Apathy & O.C. – “Globetrotters”

blame it on Shake September 15, 2017

With Perestroika dropping next week, Apathy and O.C. are back with the project’s final single, “Globetrotters.”

From the first two releases—”Soviet Official” and “Live From The Iron Curtain” (which Ap took Verse of the Month honors for)—one would imagine the album would be filled with nothing but slick talk, crazy wordplay and raw beats. And it is, but with “Globetrotters,” the veteran duo dial things back a bit and to deliver a personal anthem about life on the road.

With over two decades in the game, both emcees have made a living off the hard work of touring. From sleepless nights, bad food and missed loved ones, life on the road can be grueling. But it’s also something to be eternally grateful for, as they’ve been able to give back to their fans and take care of their families with one fell swoop.

With a hook provided by Jus Cuz and a beat from iLLinformed, “Globetrotters” is available below. Check it out and get ready for Perestroika to finally impact on September 22.
