Phora Tackles Depression, Suicidal Thoughts In “God” Video

Fresh off the release of his sixth album Yours Truly Forever, Phora is back at it with a video for the opening track, “God.”

Having survived a stabbing, a shooting, and wrestled with thoughts of suicide, the 22-year-old rapper bares all as he tackles challenging topics like depression, regret and his relationship with a higher power, with some honest and thought-provoking self-reflection.

“I wrote this song at the lowest time in my life, and Im just hoping someone can relate,” Phora says. “You’re not alone.”
