JAY-Z To Super Bowl LII: “Nah”

Guess it’s time to keep pushing for the Migos to perform at the Big Game on February 4th, 2018.

According to UK’s The Metro, Shawn has reportedly declined performing during the halftime show of Super Bowl LII, despite his wife performing in two.

(This also adds to the hearts that were broken when word got out that OutKast declined in 2004.)

According to the article, “Lots of people have been saying Jay will perform with Justin Timberlake, but it is simply not the case.” This is likely due to JAY-Z’s support of Colin Kaepernick, which he voiced during his closing set at The Meadows Festival last week (September 15th).

In related news, TMZ is reporting that both Jay and Kanye West are planning to meet soon in hopes of settling any animosity between the two, including settling Kanye’s multi-million dollar dispute with TIDAL.

Kanye has already reached out to Jay to extend an olive branch and is asking for a “face-to-face,” with their sources adding that “money” is “not the source of conflict between the [two]; it’s all about their relationship,” while the TIDAL dispute is still being “hashed out.”
