DJ Kay Slay Drops Feature-Heavy Album, ‘The Big Brother’

After a few delays, DJ Kay Slay has finally come through with his new album, The Big Brother.

In the weeks leading up to the album, Kay Slay was anything but stingy, sharing a handful of high-caliber previews: “Cold Summer” with Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller and Kevin Gates, “Jealousy” with Busta Rhymes, Tech N9ne and The Game, and “Wild One” with 2 Chainz, Rick Ross and Gates, and “Story Of My Life” with Papoose, Mysonne and AZ, and “Rose Showers” with Dave East, French Montana and Zoey Dollaz.

The crazy thing is, even with the above songs being released early, there’s still a sh*t ton of music to run through. On top of the names already listed, there’s also appearances from The LOX, Scarface, Jadakiss, Lloyd Banks, Raekwon, Jay Rock, Locksmith, Nipsey Hussle, Beanie Sigel, Nick Grant, and more. Yes, more—this album is stacked.

“This project is dedicated to the true ear hustlers and fans of the true taste makers in the hip-hop culture,” Kay Slay told Complex. “Where as I am a day one citizen of hip-hop, I felt that I owed a solid collaboration to the fans who been looking forward to this type of album for years.”
