Today is bittersweet for one Kevin “Gates” Gilyard.
On one hand, his new album, By Any Means 2, has been released. On the other, he’s currently serving 30 months in an Illinois jail and won’t be around to celebrate.
Still, the show must go on. And thanks to the helping hand of his wife, Dreka, the Baton Rouge’s rapper is still able to get his music to the masses.
A follow-up to 2014’s By Any Means, Vol. 2 comes equipped with 14 songs — including “No Love,” “Had To,” “What If” and “Beautiful Scars” with PnB Rock.
