Caleborate Is A “Bankrobber” On Second ‘Real Person’ Single

One of the more pleasant surprises to come from the West Coast in recent years is Bay Area native Caleborate. With his ambitious new project, Real Person, set to release on October 6th, he follows up the first single “Soul” with “Bankrobber.”

Produced by Drew Banga and Chose1, the song isn’t what many think it’s about. “My daddy was a bankrobber,” Cale begins, before finishing with “taught me how to get money.” The song is then filled will autobiographical and honest lyrics. Like Blu and Exile before him, Caleborate is promising an album full of reflective and relatable lyrics backed by soulfully lifting beats. And, like Blue and Exile before him, the DopeHouse is here for it.
