DopeHouse favorite Jay IDK is readying the release of his IWASVERYBAD soundtrack and just unveiled the cover art, tracklist and accompanying features.
Locked in at ten tracks, with each serving as an “episode” of the DMV rapper’s life, the soundtrack will be released in three installments from Sept. 28 — Oct. 13.
“This project is the story of my life,” IDK says. “I like to look at each song as a visual that you watch with your ears.”
Features include DOOM, Swizz Beatz, Del the Funky Hoposapien, Chief Keef, Yung Gleesh (who appears on the first single, “Baby Scale“) and Mother Marygold. Production provided by Kal Banx, Thelonious Martin, Tae Beast, Daniel Worthy, and more.
