Since debuting in 2006, Cassie has remained a fixture of Diddy‘s Bad Boy Records. While she hasn’t released a full body of work since her 2013 mixtape RockaByeBaby, she’s dropped a myriad of singles over the years, most recently teaming with The Black Eyed Peas for their 2016 update of “#Wheresthelove.”
In the summer, she returned with the G-Eazy-guested single “Love A Loser.” She’s now released a self-titled short film which doubles as the visual treatment for the single.
Directed by Harrison Boyce, the video depicts the dynamics of a chaotic relationship. “He’s like an aggravating high,” Cassie said to Complex. “Like the high that you want to go away, but that you never want to go away. It creeps up on you; has you do some crazy sh*t that you would never do… and then it leaves you in the middle of the night.”
