Despite being a GRAMMY-winning public figure, even Chance The Rapper is wary of the police.

On Sunday (October 8th) Chance took to his Instagram account to livestream a traffic stop he was involved in. While with his two-year-old daughter Kensli and her mother Kirsten Corley, the three were pulled over by a Chicago police officer while returning home from church.

“Just want y’all to be here in case it gets out of hand,” Chance said to the viewers. “Should be good though. Should be straight.”

Eventually, the cop would let them go with a warning.

“I have great faith in humanity and the men and women that put on the badge… but policing as a system is disproportionately racist and oppressive,” he continued.

In lighter news, Chance recently sat down with Dave Chappelle and (a smiling) Kanye West.
