With his 20/20 mixtape and Shag Master 3000 EP still in rotation from the past year, Baltimore’s Zheep is closing out 2017 with Very Necessary before year’s end.
To get fans ready, Zheep shares a song called “Forgive or Forget” that won’t actually live on the project.
“There’s two ways I want people to interpret the meaning of ‘forgive’ in this record,” Zheep explained to MA. “One is me asking for a female’s forgiveness and being a better man for her. The other way is me talking to God, asking him for forgiveness for the crazy shit I’ve done. To ‘forget’ is to forget who I am, which isn’t something I’m doing. So I ask to be forgiven for being me.”
What did Zheep do wrong? Man, who the hell knows. But while you try to figure it out, keep the DK Punisher-produced track in rotation until Very Necessary arrives.
