Reintroducing himself with his government name, Rob Markman released his debut EP Write To Dream during the hotter months of 2017. He now follows up the visual for the first single, “I Don’t Wanna Wait,” with “Writer.”
A song which details his struggles to make the changeover into the rap world, Rob questions his current place in music (“I’m in the wrong era, shoulda been around Clue”) while asserting that burgeoning second career isn’t just a temporary fad. The likes of N.O.R.E., DJ Drama and Royce 5’9″ call in throughout the clip to even show their own dubiety, but that clearly doesn’t stop Rob from pursuing or achieving his goals.
