Teddy Walton is doing the damn thing.
After providing the DopeHouse listeners with some quality beats over the years, the Memphis-bred producer caught traction when he laced GoldLink, Brent Faiyaz and Shy Glizzy with “Crew” last last year. From there, his stock has continued to rise with placement on Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN (“LOVE” and “GOD”), four beats on Bryson Tiller’s True to Self, Freddie Gibbs’ “Crushed Glass” and a few other heat-rocks.
Now it’s time for Teddy to break out on his own. Prepping his new project, Mental Health, the gifted producer shares the title-track with a little help from Dom Kennedy.
