Kanye West To Develop “Yeezy Sound” Streaming Service?

With all of the streaming services — from Apple Music to SoundCloud, and everything in between — vying for consumers’ dollars, would it make sense (and cents) for another one to join the fray?

Well, that may be what Kanye West is planning to do.

According to The Blast, representatives for West have filed documents to trademark something called “Yeezy Sound” on November 2nd, which would include “Streaming of music, audio, images, video and other multimedia content over the internet.”

While it could mean that West may follow in JAY-Z‘s footsteps and release his own version of a TIDAL-like service, it could also mean that he may in the process of developing a platform where he could release his own content exclusively.
