The international equivalent of the VMAs, the MTV EMAs took place at the SSE Arena Wembley in London yesterday (November 12th). Alongside artists such as Stormzy, Dua Lipa and Liam Payne stateside artists like Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and Travis Scott performed and/or took home awards.
Slim Shady took to the EMA stage, performing his recently-released single “Walk On Water” for the very first time. While Beyoncé was not there to perform her portion, the song’s co-producer Skylar Grey handled the hook duties.

Eminem would also win the Best Hip Hop Award, which even confused him because he hasn’t “dropped an album in a few years.” He did allude to the impending arrival of Revival, however.
Travis Scott also took to the stage, performing “Butterfly Effect” atop his mechanical hawk.
