Jaden Smith is eccentric, and that’s just the way he prefers it.

He knows we know he’s the son of one of the most legendary musicians and actors of all time. He knows we know that he was afforded certain things that many young men and women his age could only dream of. And he’s surely aware of the criticisms that comes with the compliments.

Since the release of The Cool Cafe: Cool Tape Vol. 1 in 2012, Jaden has shown tremendous improvement and growth as he himself continues to grow and come into his own. His vision has now become a reality, as he’s now released his debut album, SYRE, via Roc Nation.

Led by the rock-tinged single “Watch Me,” Jaden is joined by both Raury (on “Falcon“) and A$AP Rocky (“Breakfast”) throughout the 17-track project.
