After kicking off its forty-third season with some help from JAY-Z, Saturday Night Live has tapped both Chance The Rapper and Eminem for tonight’s (November 18th) episode. Things will be a bit different than expected, however: Chance will serve as the host, and Em will be the musical guest.
While Eminem did perform his first single off his forthcoming ninth album RƎVIVAL, “Walk On Water,” his performance was also a medley of songs throughout his discography which included “Stan” and “Love The Way You Lie. Strangely enough, Slim did not have a second performance, debut a new song from the album or announce the release date for RƎVIVAL.
As for Chano, this was the first real time he will flex his acting chops on screen. Save for his Kit Kat adverts and his upcoming role in the horror film Slice, not much has really been seen prior to tonight and he held his own down with some chuckle-inducing sketches.
