Fresh off the release of Sabbath, Chuuwee is back with the project’s second video.
Following “Dope,” the SacTown rapper keeps it coming with “Members Only,” one of the more personal records where Chuu details his 8 year relationship with his finacée, CharLe.
“This will probably end up being one of my favorite videos,” he says. “Even though this album was an intermission, I took this time around to up the ante on everything. Bigger sounds, better videos, sonically a bigger picture product in general. But this video is the first of many on the series taken from the short film we are currently working on. I think I perfectly encompasses my growth as an artist. It’s a visual experience to accompany the album. It takes key points of my career as well as visuals we planned to release individually for the ‘Sabbath’ album but instead we turned it into a coming of age of me as an artist. Think like a ghetto skate video meets Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade.'”
