Retchy P is finally back.
The fast life of New Jersey’s wild child, RetcH, caught up to him as he spent a considerable amount of time behind bars. Now home, the rapper has been taking his time enjoying his newfound freedom, family and — as usual — adventures in social media.
RetcH formally makes his return to music with Still Up. The follow-up to 2016’s Lean & Neck, the rapper goes it alone and eschews features on the 8-song project.
“If you go back throughout my discography, you’ll see that every project has a different sound,” RetcH told Complex. “That’s really the most organic part about art to me—an artist trying to find a sound and experiment with flows and different types of beats and all sorts of different things. That’s what I always tried to do. Polo Sporting Goods, this new project, and Finesse the World all sound different.”
Led by “Run Up Them Racks,” the EP can be heard below.
