blame it on Shake December 8, 2017

At the tail end of last year, Kipp Stone linked up with Marvel Comics to provide the soundtrack to one of their Black Panther recap videos. A year later, the Cleveland emcee is back in business with the release of his debut album, Dirty Face Angel.

Dark and beautiful as the city itself, Stone brings East Cleveland and its dichotomy to life through the lens of a person protected by his hometown. Revealing the consciousness of someone encouraged to focus on art, instead of being pushed towards the black hoodie nights.

At 12 tracks, Kipp handles his debut by himself for the most part, inviting V’Ari, Nuke Franklin and Niia to contribute to three songs. Press play below and be sure to add Dirty Face Angel on your preferred streaming platform.
