Because of a long-shrouded history of sexual and racist misconduct accusations, Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson has decided to sell the team.
Almost immediately after the announcement, Diddy took to Twitter and expressed his desires to purchase the team, with the hopes of becoming the NFL’s first majority African-American owner.
