As crazy as it is to say, it’s been seven years since Nipsey Hussle released The Marathon to the world.
Since then, the Cali spitter has been hitting us with projects on a yearly basis — including The Marathon Continues (2011), TMC: X-Tra Laps (2012), Crenshaw (2013), Mailbox Money (2014), and Slauson Boy 2 (2016).
Now, with the wait for his Victory Lap debut almost over, Nipsey is celebrating the anniversary of The Marathon with “Been Down” with Swizz Beatz—who plays featured guest, leaving the production to 1500 or Nothin’ and Jake One.
