After rejoining with the Roc (Nation) in 2017 Freeway made sporadic appearances musically, save for a sliver of songs and guest appearances. However, recent posts on his Instagram reveal that he is at work on new music with none other than Young Guru.
Hopefully that means that a follow-up to 2016’s Free Will is on the way.
In the meantime, the Freezer joins Toronto native Kid Kold on “Make A Mill.” The track will land on Kold’s debut EP The Black Gang, which boasts an impressive collection of guests: Ghostface Killah, Beanie Sigel, Styles P and Sheek Louch, among others. Slated to drop January 26th, the DJ Merciless-produced “Make A Mill” can be heard below.
