The Black Eyed Peas Perform “Street Livin'” On ‘Colbert’

The Black Eyed Peas have been revisiting the sound of their first two albums, 1998’s Behind the Front and 2000’s Bridging the Gap, dropping a politically-charged single from their graphic novel Masters of The Sun: The Zombie Chronicles, “Street Livin’.” Last night (Jan. 15), the trio of will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo took their talents to The Late Show with Steven Colbert to perform the track.

Alongside a live band including an upright bass and horn players, the BEPs — emphasis on “Black” — delivered a somber performance light years different from their “Let’s Get It Started” days.
