Back in the beginning of 2016, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne linked up for an album called ColleGrove—a combination of their hometowns of College Park, GA and Hollygrove, LA.
Fast forward two years and it looks like the longtime collaborators are ready to release a sequel. Or are they?
“Me and my brother got another one on the way,” 2 Chainz revealed in a caption under a picture of him and Lil Wayne on Instagram. But what does ‘another one’ mean? Although it’s certainly plausible that he’s referring to a follow-up to ColleGrove, there’s also a chance he’s simply referring to another “hit” single.
Either way, the idea of a second full-length is reason to get excited. 2 Chainz did his thing with Pretty Girls Like Trap Music and Wayne is seemingly back on his bullshit with the release of Dedication 6 and his “Family Feud” remix with Drake.
