The protégé of Rich The Kid, Famous Dex is aiming to attain the same success of his mentor with his forthcoming project Dex Meets Dexter. However, controversy hit the rapper when footage of him beating his then-girlfriend surfaced, even causing him to be dropped from the class of the 2017 XXL Freshman.
In October he teamed with A$AP Rocky for “Pick It Up,” and now a matching set of visuals have been released. Directed by AWGE — Rocky’s creative collective, and Hidji Films, the video can be seen below. Dex’ Dex Meets Dexter is slated to be released sometime this Spring.
