Back in the summer of 2016, Detroit’s Payroll Giovanni and Cardo teamed up for their Big Bossin’ project. And now, with a fresh Def Jam deal in place, the duo are back at it with Big Bossin’ Vol. 2, dropping January 26th.
“‘Big Bossin’ 1′ was like the middle stage of hustling. You know, like you getting a couple dollars. Mid-level hustling,” Payroll told FSD. “Now, ‘Big Bossin’ 2′ is like that next level and what comes with it — the bad and the good. The consequences behind your choices and everything not being as glamorous. I’m really touching on that.”
Last week, Payroll and Cardo linked up with E-40 on the lead single, “Mail Long.” And with the album dropping next week, they’re back with another one: “Stack It, Stash It.”
