Royce 5’9″ and DJ Premier first linked up as PRhyme back in 2014 with the release of their self-titled joint album. Soon after touring together, the duo announced that a sequel was in the works. More than three years later, we’re finally getting PRhyme 2.
Featuring Dave East, Royce and Premier dropped the album’s lead single today titled, “Era.” Royce and Dave mesh well together, dropping impressive bars all over Premier’s beat. Set to release March 16th, PRhyme 2 will hopefully be one of the better collaborative projects we’ve heard in a while.
