Recently, while he was overseas, Joey Bada$$ would stop by Australian radio station triplej and participated in their cover series, “Like A Version.” He would cover Prince‘s “When Doves Cry,” but reimagined it as “When Thugs Cry.”
Well, the song became a hit with his fans, and due to the response joZif has now officially released the song, re-christening it as “Thugz Cry”. Produced by 1-900 and NasteeLuvzYou, it can be heard below.
