U-God Unloads ‘Bring Back God II’ Mixtape Ahead of New Album

Back in October, a new Wu-Tang album called The Saga Continues was released to the masses. Unfortunately, absent from the line-up was U-God, who, according to Mathematics (the mastermind behind the project), was unavailable to participate and the main reason “Clan” was left off the title.

“It’s a Wu-Tang record of course, but by now everybody that got the album know U-God is missing,” Mathematics explains. “It can’t be a complete Wu-Tang Clan album without UG.”

Fast forward to 2018 and the pending 25th anniversary of the legendary group’s introduction to the world, U-God is reminding us the Clan still got it, releasing his new mixtape, Bring Back God II.

A precursor to U-God’s upcoming memoir, RAW: My Journey Into the Wu-Tang (3/6), and album, VENOM (3/30), the project stands at 18 tracks, laced with Kung Fu anecdotes, freestyles over today’s biggest tracks, DJ Green Lantern remixes, and classic verses blended by DJ Homicide.
