After Big Daddy Kane performed a medley of his classics, August Greene — the collective of Common, Robert Glasper and Karriem Riggins — stopped by NPR’s office for a Tiny Desk Concert set.
With their collaborative debut arriving March 9th, the trio performed various songs off their album. They were not alone, too: Brandy joined them for “Optimistic,” Maimouna Youssef guested as they premiered “Practice,” and Andra Day assisted Common on their Oscar-nominated song “Stand Up For Something.”
