Joey Bada$$ Drops “Kings Dead” Freestyle with XXXtentacion

blame it on Shake March 8, 2018

Joey Bada$$ warned us.

At the top of the year, the Pro Era captain said he and his crew weren’t playing games in 2018 and would be releasing a ton of music throughout the year. So far, he’s delivered—releasing a handful of songs, including an unreleased joint with Kirk Knight, a Prince cover, and “King to a God” (celebrating his 23rd birthday). He also joined Chuck Strangers on a pair of songs (“80 Blocks” and “Style Wars,” the lead single off Strangers’ upcoming debut) and helped Smoke DZA kick off his Not For Sale campaign.

Now, as he prepares to hit the road on his Amerikkkana tour with Buddy and Boogie, Joey is back with another one. This time, flipping Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and Future’s “King’s Dead” with help from XXXtentacion.

Check it out below and be on the lookout for a joint project between Joey and XXX. The two announced the idea back in January.
