Rob Markman and DviousMindz are back at it.
After teaming up on “Believe Me” earlier this year, the longtime DopeHouse mainstays keep their working relationship rolling with “Long Flight Home,” their second collaboration in as many months.
“I wrote this record in LAX, waiting to board my flight back home to NYC,” Rob says. “This is just how I felt that day, in that moment. There was a lot on my mind and I just wanted to get the feelings out. I was frustrated by a flight delay, I was feeling like an underdog within my own team — I was just in a foul mood. DviousMindz sent me this beat and it was exactly how I felt.”
With references to Rick Ross’ recent health scare and needing the voice of an angel (Fergie meets Jesus, of course) for a hook, Rob lets his pen do the talking below.
