Now, this is not news we like to wake up to.
After nearly two decades in the game, it seems like Lloyd Banks is ready to hang up the mic for good. Taking to his Twitter early Friday morning (3/16), the New York spitter thanked those that laid the groundwork before him, before hinting at a possible retirement from the game.
“I fell in love with hip-hop over 25 years ago… it was that thing I turned to during good times and bad,” he said. “Just wanna say thank you to the artist before me that inspired me… and send my appreciation to everyone that supported me until this day. Thank you. With that being said… I think it’s time to lay it down.”

UPDATE: Whew! After letting his fans cry for nine hours, Banks returned to Twitter to shut down any retirement talk. The PLK will never stop!

Just goes to show you what a mess the industry has become..they’ll rather cover everything that happens around the music..than the actual music itself..I hope all these outlets support me when I drop..have a good day
