After kicking things off with “Andre the Giant” last month, which just surpassed 500k views, the MPLS native keeps it rocking with the introspective “Criminal,” which highlights another side of Prof as he flexes his vocal range and raw emotion with a soulful and hypnotic delivery.
“Sex, drugs, and alcohol are false solutions to depression, but you find yourself turning to them for a quick fix to your pain,” Prof says. “‘Criminal’ is about the gut-wrenching feeling when you wake up after a night of bad decisions to find that you’ve only made your life worse. It illustrates a certain romance involved in that vicious cycle.”
