Last night (March 29th) The Weeknd surprised fans with a quickstrike EP, My Dear Melancholy. Now he’s returns with a pair of videos for “Try Me” and “Call Out My Name.”
The visuals, which are available via Spotify’s Are & Be playlist, are a pair of lo-fi clips that plays into the aesthetic of My Dear Melancholy. “Try Me” has Abel in a car with women who are more interested in making out with each other than anything, while “Call Out My Name” has him waxing poetics from a television screen (think Max Headroom).
