After a brief hiatus, following his retirement from The Late Show with David Letterman in which he became the longest-serving late night talk show host in American television history, David Letterman teamed with Netflix for a six-episode series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. Debuting January 12th, the likes of Barack Obama, George Clooney and Malala Yousafzai have sat down with Letterman for lengthy interviews.

The next episode, which debuts April 7th, will feature none other than JAY-Z. In a preview of the episode, Jay explains why artists like Snoop Dogg and Eminem are among the greatest rappers of all time.

“You can have a great voice and you can just almost say anything,” Jay said. “I think Snoop Dogg has a great voice. Like, he can say, ‘One, two, three, and to the four,’ and it’s like, ‘Oh my god.’ It just sounds good, right? It just sounds really good.

“Or you can be someone like Eminem and just have amazing cadence,” he continues. “So, there’s multiple ways to be really good,” he adds. “Some people just have it all.”
