Janelle Monáe – “PYNK” (Video)

blame it on Shake April 10, 2018

With Dirty Computer impacting later this month, Janelle Monáe returns with a third taste of her long-awaited LP.

Following the sexually explicit “Make Me Feel” and the rap-filled (yes, Ms. Monáe is rapping) “Django Jane,” the electric lady keeps it coming and reps for women worldwide on the Grimes-assisted “PYNK.”

“PYNK is a brash celebration of creation, self love, sexuality, and pussy power!” Janelle says. “PYNK is the color that unites us all, for pink is the color found in the deepest and darkest nooks and crannies of humans everywhere… PYNK is where the future is born.”

Released with a matching visual, the Emma Westenberg-directed clip follows Monáe and a group of women from the desert to a diner, all the while a ton of sexually-charged innuendos are interjected throughout.

Think PYNK, press play below, and be sure to pick up Dirty Computer on April 27th.
