Over the years, we’ve seen the children of legends try their hands in making music with mixed results. Master P’s son Romeo never really caught traction while Big Pun’s son Chris Rivers has managed to carve a nice niche with his lyricism and penchant for ripping a beat to shreds just like his pops used to do back in the day.

Enter Christian “King” Combs, the son of Love Diddy, who’s been making noise for the last few months and has now come through with his debut mixtape, 90’s Baby.

“I am the epitome of a 90s baby,” young Combs told Hypebeast. “I have been greatly influenced by Bad Boy artists, but driven and inspired by my generation to be authentic. “I am forever inspired by the smooth vibes of the late 90s music. The mixtape is a soundtrack of my childhood and journey to this release. I observed and absorbed all of the energy musically that surrounded me as I was present while many classic records were being made.”

A fresh mix of his East Coast upbringing and current West Coast lifestyle, 90’s Baby features appearances from his pops (of course) and various members of his CYN clique.
