
Tim Gent is back in action.
After capping off 2017 with a few politically-driven loosies, the Clarksville, TN rapper is back with his first single of the new year.
Taken off his upcoming album, Life Away From Home, “333” finds Gent in full-time hustle mode as he hopes his hard work helps propel him to new heights.
“I felt like if I wrote a project [with that] title, it would propel me out of the city,” Gent told NPR. “That was my idea: I’m gonna write myself out of here. I just felt like, ‘By the time I drop this project, somebody’s gonna hear and want to sign me and I’ll be on the road.’ I mean, that’s what I thought. Of course, it didn’t happen that way.”
