Over the years, Mello Music Group have provided hip hop fans with countless rewind-worthy projects. And for their latest trick, North Carolina’s L’Orange and Solemn Brigham have teamed up as Marlowe and will release a self-titled collaborative project on July 13th.

“Ten years ago, Solemn Brigham and I started writing music together under the group name Lost Arts,” L’Orange says. “It is an honor to be releasing our first single together with the same name after all this time.”

“Marlowe is a culmination of years of shared experience,” Solemn adds. “In a place of ever-changing morality, this is to remind you that it’s ok to represent something. L’Orange is the unseen figure behind my verbal charge. There is no norm. This is to glorify all things original.”

Kicking off the campaign, the emcee/producer duo release a video for the poignant lead single, “Lost Arts,” which finds Brigham flexing his verbal skills with an extended verse over L’Orange’s vintage board work.
