Although it might of gotten buried amidst the onslaught of music when it was released, Black Milk‘s FEVER is one of the better albums of the year. And today, the producer-on-the-mic is back with a new video for “Could It Be.”

After examining the mental and emotional tug of war within social media with “Laugh Now, Cry Later,” Milk reconnects with director Gerard Victor to salute lost friends and struggling artists with an ambitious and life-affirming visual about the power of love and memory.

“The song is about pursuing a dream despite adversity, celebrating and sharing accomplishments with loved ones along the way,” Milk says. “The character in the video, who’s pursuing his dream, is wishing his best friend was alive to celebrate with him, not knowing he’s there in spirit.”
