Taylor Bennett – “Be Yourself”

blame it on Shake June 6, 2018

With the rush of touring the country still present, Taylor Bennett is back with his third single of the year.

After kicking things off with “Minimum Wage” and getting “So High” with Twista, the Chicago rapper and his Tay Bennett Ent. signee Bianca Shaw help promote individuality on the heartfelt “Be Yourself.”

“To be black in America, to come from a background where typical masculinity comes first at all costs and being the first to disrupt the norm, is so scary,” Taylor told TIME, who debuted the record. “You know, it’s very, very, very hard to be yourself — but even more difficult to be yourself and still be the most powerful person or version of yourself in a room.”

The lead single off his upcoming album of the same name, “Be Yourself” can be heard below.
