So, literally, the other day I decided to run back Canibus‘ debut 1998 album, Can-I-Bus. Aside from a few songs (“Patriots,” “Buckingham Palace” and — of course — “Second Round K.O.“), that album has not aged well over the years. However, the one thing is that his pen has remained sharp throughout his two decade-plus career.

It’s been three years since Canibus’ last album, Time Flys, Life Dies… Phoenix Rise with Bronze Nazareth, in 2015. However, the rapper has announced that a new EP, Full Spectrum Dominance, will arrive on June 22nd. He has also shared a pair of singles, C”Anagram Phoenix” and “The Odds,” which can be heard below.
