Back in June, XXL revealed their 2018 Freshman Class with artists like J.I.D, Trippie Redd, and BlocBoy JB getting nods. One glaring omission, amongst many, was the absence of IDK, the DMV spitter who’s been killing everything he touches—including his IWASVERYBAD album soundtrack and a Funk Flex freestyle.
IDK is okay with the snub, though. Instead of accepting recognition from the long-standing platform, he’s just gonna take it. While XXL releases the freestyle segments from their freshmen, IDK bursts through the door guns blazing with a freestyle of his own.
Interestingly titled “Trippie Redd’s Freestyle,” watch IDK get busy with the bars below. Man, this is nasty.
