Over the past several years, the Black Eyed Peas have traded back in their pop-leaning sonics for more socially conscious music, releasing songs like “Street Livin’,” and “RING THE ALARM pt.1, pt.2, pt.3.” They’ve now returned with another, “Get It.”
“This song is for all of our family & friends out there who get up and ‘GET IT’ each and everyday,” the group said about the track. Premiered by Noisey, a video for “Get It” — directed by Ben Mor — is a politically charged visual encouraging awareness of police brutality worldwide.
