Like “swag,” “culture,” “lit” and countless other phrases before (and, ultimately, after), “clout” is the term du jour in hip hop. So, it was only a matter of time before someone would do something like this.

Speaking of the Freshman class, 2016 alum Denzel Curry has reimagined a legendary musician’s name for his new song, “Clout Cobain.” The track serves as the first offering from Curry’s forthcoming project TA13OO, which is finally slated to arrive on July 27th. A rather freaky (the circus kind) visual has also been released, and it can be seen below.
