With the rush of touring the country still present, Taylor Bennett comes through with his new project, Be Yourself.
“To be black in America, to come from a background where typical masculinity comes first at all costs and being the first to disrupt the norm, is so scary,” Taylor told TIME. “You know, it’s very, very, very hard to be yourself — but even more difficult to be yourself and still be the most powerful person or version of yourself in a room.”
Locked in at six tracks, including “Rock N Roll” and the title-track with Bianca Shaw, the quickstrike effort also features contributions from Young Thug and Supa Bwe.
