Earlier this year Russ earned a Platinum plaque for his major label debut, There’s Really a Wolf. Now, he hopes to achieve that same success with his forthcoming sophomore LP.
Titled “Don’t Fall For It,” I’m going to assume that the song is like most of what Russ has done lately — self-produced, self-mixed, self-engineered, selfie, and the like — but the song derives some inspiration from J. Cole‘s “1985 (Intro to ‘The Fall Off’)” as it’s a “message to the youth” about the darker sides of “clout culture.” Either way, listen to it below.
