Gerald Walker is a part of a new team.
The DopeHouse mainstay recently inked a deal with Stalley‘s Blue Collar Gang imprint, and will release his first project since his 2015 debut album, Target, later this year.
“Having guys like Stalley and [my manager] B.J. Moore extend an olive branch is not only flattering, but humbling. I understand that ‘no man is an island’ and we all need help; but it’s always been important that I align myself with the RIGHT people. And I believe they are absolutely the right people,” Walker said to Billboard. “I’ve always been a fan of Stalley’s music, however, seeing how he comports himself personally and in business is already contributing to my development as an artist. Beejay is a straight shooter and someone I believe will challenge me to become a better artist as well. With them in my corner the sky is the limit!”
Gerald has also released his new single “Trenches,” with Layzie Bone and Stix. Produced by Cardo, “Trenches” can be heard below.
